Burleson Mansion Wedding

Burleson Mansion Wedding

Are you going to a Burlseon mansion wedding at Lone Star Mansion and you’re unsure about the ettiequte of bringing a plus-one? We have got you covered with all the information and unspoken rules that you could need about bringing a plus-one to that upcoming wedding.

  • First things first, listen to your invitation! If it says that you can bring a plus one, you can. If it doesn’t say anything about a plus-one, it is safe to assume that you did not receive a plus-one. The reasons for this are numerous, so it is best not to question their choice and to just go along with it. You don’t need a date to a wedding for it to be great!
  • If your guest was named on the invitation, your plus-one is for that specific person. If your significant other can’t go, it does not mean that you can just substitute your best friend in place. If a specific person is named, it is as if they got their own invitation and you would not just pass along your whole invitation to the next person.
  • Lastly, think about who you’re bringing! If you recently started dating the bride’s brother’s ex, it might be best to opt out of bringing a plus-one entirely. The wedding is about the couple getting married, not about who you are choosing to bring as a wedding date. Respect the couple and who you are bringing as your plus-one if you are invited to bring one.

We hope that you are just as excited about the wedding that you are coming to celebrate as we are to host it at our beautiful mansion. Are you still looking for a venue for your wedding, too? Contact us to talk about our venue for your wedding!
