DFW Mansion Venue
It is almost wedding time at our DFW Mansion Venue and you’re still ironing out some of the details, including your something borrowed! What should you use for your something borrowed? We have a few ideas from the favorites we have seen in the past for you!
Your something borrowed doesn’t have to be something tangible. Use your parent’s first dance song or a snippet from their vows in your vows! Honoring your parents like this will mean so much to them! This will be a sweet way of adding them to the wedding. Your family will remember these moments for years to come and think on it fondly.
For something more tangible and wearable, borrow your mother’s or grandmother’s veil! This is a small detail but a detail that will definitely be noticed. It is another beautiful way to honor the women in your family and creates a bond that you will never forget.
Lastly, use the cake topper or cake knife that your parents used at their wedding! If you go with the cake topper, you might get a fun and unique vintage cake topper that will only add to your cake. Everyone will know the story behind it and make it incredibly sweet. If your family still has the knife that they used to cut their cake, you can use this, too! Get your last names or a piece from your vows engraved in it and this will become a family memento that it used down the line, as well.
We are so excited to see what you choose for your something borrowed, something blue, something old, and something new at the best DFW Mansion Venue! If you’re interested in having your big day at The Lone Star Mansion, contact us today to get the conversation started.
