Burleson Mansion Venue

Are you nervous about overspending on your Burleson mansion venue wedding? There are foolproof ways to make sure that doesn’t happen and that you fly to your honeymoon still in budget!

  1. First things first, figure out your budget right away and stick to it. Nothing will blow your wedding budget more than making large financial decisions before you’ve created a budget. Once that budget is created, you need to stick to it! If you allocate $600 for florals, don’t decide to stretch it to $800 at the last minute because you will then let yourself become lax with everything.
  2. To help with budgeting, use a budgeting website! Budgeting websites keep everything in one place for you to see so that you don’t have to keep up with all of your receipts and invoices manually. There are many out there now, and even options for specially wedding planning. Using something like this will help you to continually see the big picture and the small picture of your budget at the same time.
  3. Be firm on your guest count. If you only planned on having 200 people max, stick to it! Don’t feel like you have to let everyone in a new, 4-week relationship bring a plus one. This will throw your catering budget and honestly make it more complicated in the long run.
  4. Lastly, avoid last minute decisions! In general, last minute decisions will throw your budget. Adding an extra guest, an extra bridesmaid or groomsmen, extra money allocated to a vendor, or anything else will add on expenses that you did not plan for. Avoid this by being diligent about sticking to your wedding plan.

There are so many other ways to make sure that you don’t overspend your budget, but these are a few that we wanted to pass along to you.
