Historical Wedding Venue History

Former owner and founder of the Lonestar Mansion, Patricia Sullivan, is a Texas native, who had a dream for this property the moment she saw it. Her dream was to see the Lonestar Mansion succeed as a wedding venue, and to use the proceeds to assist a non-profit school for children with autism, “Jeffrey’s Discovery,” named after her son. Her main goal was to give autistic children a chance, who may otherwise not be able to afford a private school. Patricia is a Respiratory Therapist by trade, as well as a teacher and devoted mother to Jeffrey. But since 2004, she has combined several of her passions and poured them into the Lonestar Mansion, turning an already beautiful home into an ideal place for brides enjoy on the most important day of their life.

After running the Mansion for a decade, Patricia decided it was time to dedicate herself to the study of autism, and in giving her time to her son Jeffrey and his needs. Patricia was hopeful that in time she’d find wedding professionals that had the vision of what the Lonestar Mansion was intended to be. With a vast background in hospitality and all-inclusive events, the new owners of the Lonestar Mansion are prepared to offer you the ideal location for your perfect day.
