While the views set the Lone Star Mansion apart from other wedding venues in the State of Texas, what truly makes it captivating is the history of the venue itself.
From Humble Beginnings to a Passionate Wedding Destination
The Lone Star Mansion was originally built in the 1800s in Mississippi. During the 1980s, the building began to fall into disrepair. It was disassembled and moved to the State of Texas where it was rebuilt using the original floor plans and several of the original pieces, including the hardwood floors, the columns, the crown molding, and some of the doors and windows.
Today, the Lone Star Mansion, run by the current owner, Clarabeth, continues to be the ideal place for brides to enjoy the most important day of their lives.

The Lone Star Mansion is a popular wedding destination that offers unparalleled service for the bride and groom, ensuring their day is smooth and filled with magic. Once the bride and groom have determined that Lone Star Mansion is their perfect wedding venue, the “Day Of” Coordinator/Event Director will sit down with the bride and groom to work out the big day’s details!
The Event Director will coordinate everything from the pacing of the ceremony to the reception, working alongside your photographer and DJ to ensure that everything runs smoothly and there is no lag. This allows you to continue to be swept up in the moment of the big day instead of stressing about the minor details.
The Bridal Dressing Room
Lone Star Mansion is dedicated to providing a unique, luxurious experience for every couple that gets married on our property. With a wide range of amenities to make use of, every moment of your special day will be memorable. From starting the day in our on-site Salon, our brides will be pampered while surrounded by the gorgeous views of the grounds out of our floor-to-window ceilings. The natural lighting ensures that make-up will come out picture perfect for both the bride and her bridesmaids. An attached spa can be utilized for further pampering, complete with pedicure station for relaxation and perfect sparkly nails. Once you and your ladies have been properly pampered and ready, it is time to head to the Dressing Room where you will put on your perfect dress. At this point, the ceremony you have been dreaming of will be only moments away!
The Groom’s Room
The groom and his men will also be enveloped in luxury. While his bride and her ladies are getting pampered, the boys can throw one last hurrah with their boys in the Mancave. Complete with a wooden wet bar, pool table, 70″ big screen TV, separate poker room, and spa complete with wet sauna and steam room, there are plenty of activities to keep the pre-wedding jitters at bay.
Transportation and Parking for Guests
The Lone Star Mansion offers plenty of parking for guests. Our staff will meet them at the parking site with golf carts, giving them a nice view of the property as they head up to the ceremony site. These golf carts are also available to help transport guests back to their car, ensuring safety and ease of movement on the large property.
